The VDRDC is honored to announce that our very own Director Dr. Joshua Miele will be addressing the general assemblies of the National Federation of the Blind and American Council of the Blind respectively- two of the largest organizations of blind people in the US. On Tuesday July 3, 3pm Central Dr. Miele will share the VDRDC's recent projects and technical advances with the general assembly of the National Federation of the Blind in Dallas, TX. Then on Wednesday July 11 Dr. Miele will address an assembly of the American Council for the Blind in Louisville, KY. The title of Dr. Miele's speech is "Descriptive Video Exchange: Enhancing the Experience by Empowering the Consumer."
