The IDEAL Group is a global leader in the design and development of open-source, accessible mobile technologies for Android-based smart phones. The IDEAL Group has four subsidiary companies, all of which are involved with important information accessibility issues and modern communications technologies.

Roles

The IDEAL Group will be the VDRDC's industry consultant on accessible mobile and telecommunications applications. The IDEAL Group will also provide key software implementation services for VDRDC prototype technologies, and will manage the Center’s open-source code dissemination.

Key Personnel

Steve Jacobs will collaborate as the VDRDC’s primary industry consultant on accessible mobile and telecommunications applications. Mr. Jacobs, president of IDEAL Group, has been in the computer industry for 35 years. Prior to his work with Ideal Group, Jacobs served as President of IDEAL of NCR for 25 years.
