The Metropolitan Museum of Art, in collaboration with Art Beyond Sight, will organize two panel presentations at the Multimodal Approaches to Learning International Conference on the work of the VDRDC as it relates to Internet and multi-media museum-based educational experience. The conference will take place October 26-28th, 2012 at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, providing connections to a large international group of innovative multi-media museum exhibit designers and arts educators.
Rebecca McGinnis will manage VDRDC dissemination and outreach projects directed at museum and arts educators, as well as organizing important trainings and workshops for these stakeholders. Her position as the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Museum Educator in charge of Access Coordination, Ms. McGinnis is in a fabulous position to serve as the Center’s liaison to the museum education community.
